All the bazaar people came tramping into the hall

Sylvia Mary Duffin (Molly)

Teenage girl documenting a trip to Germany & social life

The performance of the G. F. S. came off the ‘Matchmaker’ went off very well, though in the afternoon all the bazaar people came tramping into the hall to get good places, before half of the properties were on the stage.

The four-hand reel went fairly well in the end, but the floor was far too slippery with oil-cloth & at the evening’s performance for the girls, Emma tripped & nearly went backwards off the stage, much to everyone’s delight!
