Was persuaded to go to a Cinema “My Little Friend” with Victoria & Hermia. A very young girl in it acts beautifully & is the only attraction. It is not a good film, badly constructed. [...] launch of the Queen Mary (was successful in the pouring rain) [...] gone to hear Bishop Garfield Williams on the Old Testament at M.U*.
