A Teenage girl growing up in Newry during the Troubles
Back to ordinary school. (Thank God). No results yet.
Mummy let me go to a punk disco tonight up in the Bosco. It was very good although we spent a lot of time in the toilet because M. was afraid of a girl who she thought was going to fight with her but she wasn't so it was alright. [...]
We left, as I said, @ 10.30 & met Z. & A. down at the bottom of Chequer Hill. I quite like A. & he stared @ me & you know what the usually means (G. & D.). Well here's hoping but I doubt it. I couldn't turn a kettle on. That's all.
Time; 20 to 12.
Goodnight.
