We all watched the making of a cinema in the village. Ladies in big wigs & very light clothing & a great deal of machinery. In the afternoon we saw some of their show. A more interesting bit - only 3 or 4 there in a scene that would last 3 minutes- done over and over again.

Director looking cross […] a girl taking notes […] I do not think this cinema will be a moral one & the girls’ want of dress is shocking - a pearl fringe for a petticoat is the only attempt at a garment.
