Cookbook with recipes & migration stories is launched

On 4 September participants of the programme Our Food, Our Place were brought to PRONI for a Get-Together event to launch a cookbook with their stories and recipes.

The cookbook is the output of this mouth-watering virtual engagement programme by the PRONI team for the 100 Shared Stories strand of Making the Future.

The programme brought together 11 participants from minority ethnic and religious backgrounds to share their stories of migration and life in Northern Ireland.

Over the course of five weeks, the group shared family stories, recipes, and music and took part in a cooking demo with chef Ellie Kisyombe (Our Table).

Their recipes, music, and stories have been turned into a Recipe Book which is now available in print at PRONI and digital format.
