New graphic novels on James Craig and Michael Collins launched

New graphic novels exploring the lives of Michael Collins and James Craig, seminal figures in events linked to the Partition of Ireland, have been launched as part of Good Relations Week.

The novels are the latest in a series of Creative Centenaries resources on real people involved in events through the Decade of Centenaries.

Both stories will be printed back-to-back in order to show the different approaches by both men in attempting to achieve their goals.

The Michael Collins story charts his life from childhood, through the Easter Rising and his subsequent role in politics and events around the Irish War of Independence and Civil War.

The James Craig story looks at the life and times of a leading figure in the formation of Northern Ireland and the modern Unionist tradition.

The new resources will be developed with a Key Stage 3 educational resource and available in print from late 2020.
